Abstract: The United States is historically the first to conduct health technology assessment（HTA）,and Canada and Australia is the one who performs outstanding HTA in the world.The paper presented the histories of HTA in three countries and their system structures,interest parties and impacts on health policy,which provided inspirations to HTA development in China.
