摘要:Radiation mutagenesis is an important method of finding new important agronomic traits in crop breeding.Gamma-ray and X-ray have been mainly used to produce a mutant during the past 80 years.Recently,ion beam and proton-beam have emerged as a new mutagen to create novel mutation in the mutation breeding of crops.In this study,we investigated the effects of soybean exposed to proton-beam.Seeds of three Korean elite soybean cultivars(’Kwangan’,’Daepung’,and ’Pungsannamul’) were irradiated with 57 MeV proton-beams in the range of 50-400 Gy.The biochemical responses including chlorophyll contents,antioxidant enzyme contents and MDA contents were investigated from the leaves of 4-week-old plants.The results showed that the tendency of SOD and POD contents were similar in Daepung.The contents of antioxidant enzymes,such as SOD,POD,and APX,reduced gradually above 239 Gy,but MDA content increased above 239 Gy.In Kwangan,the trend of SOD and POD contents were also similar,and MDA content had no significant changes among protonbeam treatments.In Pungsannamul,APX and SOD contents had a similar tendency.Also,MDA content increased with the increase of the irradiation doses.In Chlorophyll contents,three soybean cultivars showed different responses to proton-beam irradiation.Kwangan and Pungsannamul had the highest chlorophyll value at 55 Gy and 62 Gy,respectively.Daepung had the highest value above 239 Gy.Chlorophyll B was more affected by proton-beam than chlorophyll A.
