摘要:The number of pods per plant and the number of seeds per pod are the most variable yield components in winter oilseed rape(WOSR).The aim of this study was to understand the effects of sowing date,of nitrogen rate and of plant density on WOSR related pod characteristic parameters as well as its seed yield.A 2-year field experiment was condurted to evaluate the influences of different sowing dates,fertilizer rates and plant densities on pod length,pod diameter,pod area,seed weight,pod number and seed yield at different positions in the plant architecture(2012-2014).Treatments included four levels of sowing dates(Sept.15,Sept.30,Oct.15 and Oct.30),three levels of fertilizer rates(90,180,and 270 kg ha-1),and three levels of plant densities(15,45,and 75 plants m-2).Results showed that the pod length,seed number,pod number were affected markedly by agronomic measures in two experimental seasons.Meanwhile,plant density of 45 plants m-2 produced more yield than that of 15 plants m2 by 7% in 2012-2013 and by 10%in 2013-2014.More effective pods per plant(about 17%) were achieved in sowing date of 270 kg ha-1 comparing with the other fertilizer rates,which were further supported by pod length,higher pod area and seed number.Hence,an appropriate agronomic measure could not only intercept more favorable photosynthetic pod area,but also led to record substantially higher above-ground biomass accumulation(8-17%)and more seed number per pod(approximately 11%) compared with the control.Based on the experiment results,yield difference may be derived mainly from different seed number affected by agriculture measures.
