Coordinated Damping Control for Power System Dynamic Stability based on Wide-area Expert System

摘要:This paper proposed a novel coordinated control technique among multiple FACTS damping controllers based on the wide-area collaborative expert control system theory. The grid operation status and interaction of multiple FACTS controllers was monitored in real time based on the advanced experience of control experts, and efficient extraction of the feature quantity of multiple FACTS coordinated control was achieved. In what follows, real-time coordination control decisions were automatic generated through sub-expert systems which ensured the coordinated control of multiple FACTSs within the regional grid. The sub-expert systems were supervised and coordinated by the primary coordinated system, and the coordinated control of multiple FACTS controllers within the system was realized in real time, which provided a new solution to multiple FACTS devices coordinated control in complex power systems.Time domain simulation results validated the conclusion.
