Automatic Detection Technology for Shotpoint Deviation via Data Statistics on First Arrival

摘要:Shotpoint deviation, also known as the shot-receiver relationship error, occurs when an incorrect shotpoint-excited location confuses the receiving relationship in petroleum seismic exploration, which negatively affects the quality of single shots and subsequent processing. Therefore, it is particularly crucial to identify shotpoint deviation at the first acquisition spot and locate the correct excited points in real time. Traditional shotpoint deviation detection is time-consuming and it is difficult to ensure high accuracy. To better control field work quality, it is necessary to develop a fast and accurate automatic detection technology for shotpoint deviation. To this end, a technology to automatically detect shotpoint deviation and conduct secondary locating was proposed based on the big-data statistics of first arrivals. This technology can automatically detect the shotpoint deviation and simultaneously idenfiy the correct excited locations quickly and accurately. As a result, it provides an effective technical means for achieving efficient and accurate single shot recording and quality monitoring.
