Adaptive blind audio watermarking algorithm based on energy conservation in a time domain resistant to MP3 compression

摘要:A blind audio watermarking algorithm capable of resisting MP3 compression is proposed in this paper. To orientate the position of watermarking embedding and cut the original audio signal into several segments, the value of energy is calculated in time domain. When the watermarking is extracted, the initial location of watermarking embedding can be found according to the energy value, and the extracting location is adjusted self-adaptively with the audio signal. So the contradiction of the audio character in MP3 compression is solved. And MP3 compression of multiple bit rates can be resisted effectively. The process of extracting is not preferable to the original audio, and extra information does not need to be synchronous identifications. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme can resist common attacks, including noise adding, low-pass filtering, and echo effectively.
