Group Collaboration and Blended Teaching Practice on Practical English Course based on Production-oriented Approach

摘要:Production-orientation approach is an English teaching method with Chinese characteristics. It focuses on the effect of teaching and learning, emphasizes the teacher’s leading role in organizing various activities. Production-oriented approach is taken as the guidance in this paper and the teaching process is divided into motivating, enabling and assessing parts to carefully design various tasks for vocational non-English majors’ Practical English courses. Meanwhile, group collaboration and blended teaching are adopted to connect the activities pre-class, in class and after class effectively. As a result, the whole teaching has achieved twice the result with half the effort.
