摘要:<正>A two-temperature plasmas model is developed for SF6 arcs burning in a supersonic nozzle under direct current conditions. The properties of SF6 arcs required for fluid dynamic simulation under equilibrium and non-equilibrium conditions are calculated from fundamental theory. The Prandtl mixing length model is used to represent the influence of turbulence flow. The computed physical quantities from the non-equilibrium model are compared with those of an equilibrium model and measurement at 600 A.Results show that deviation of electron temperature from heavy particle temperature occurs mainly at the edge of the plasma where the arc experiences strong interaction with the surrounding cold-flow. Quantitative analysis is performed on the energy exchange mechanisms between electrons and heavy particles, which provides the foundation for further theoretical investigation of transient SF6 arcs in switching applications.
