Analysis of the Aesthetic Value of Immersive Experience in Science Popularization of Science and Technology Museum:A Case Study of Virtual Reality

摘要:The development of new media technologies provides more diversified expression means of science popularization in science and technology museums.Traditional audio-visual experience and simple interaction find it unable to satisfy the needs of the public in this rapidly changing era.People are looking for some new forms that have a sense of participation,presence and being artistic,the immersive experience is an important way to satisfy this demand,such as dome theater and 4D theater in most science and technology museums.Virtual reality which has great potential provides infinite possibilities for the immersive experience in science popularization.It is not only an artificial intelligence technology of real reduction,but also an emerging art form with aesthetic value.It breaks the boundary between content and form;a VR scene is both the presented form and performance content itself.In this 3D virtual world,people move on subjective perspective;it is possible to obtain a real-life identity and achieve interoperability between virtual and real.This kind of expression can not only deeply integrate science and art which can satisfy the public’s aspirations of immersive experience,but also promote the development of science popularization through science and technology museums.
