Effects of FRUCTUS SCHISANDRAE CHINENSIS on the Hepatic Antioxidant System and Trace Elements in Mice

【摘要】 [Objective] To study the effects of FRUCTUS SCHISANDRAE CHINENSIS on the hepatic antioxidant system and trace elements in mice.[Methods] 40 male ICR mice were randomly divided into control group,low dose group,middle dose group and high dose group.Intragastric administration for 4 weeks,and then the content of reduced glutathione(GSH),malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in the hepatic tissue were determined.The hepatic tissue was digested by HNO3-HClO4 mixed acid,and the contents of Zn,Cu,Fe and Mn etc.four trace elements in it were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry.[Results] The contents of GSH and SOD in middle dose group were obvious higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The contents of Cu,Fe and Mn in middle and high dose groups were obvious higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).[Conclusion] FRUCTUS SCHISANDRAE CHINENSIS could enhance the hepatic antioxidant ability of mice significantly through maintaining the balance of trace elements in liver.
