Determination of Ferulic Acid in FRUCTUS TOOSENDAN at Different Seasons by HPLC

【摘要】 [Objective] To determine the content of ferulic acid in FRUCTUS TOOSENDAN and investigate the variation of ferulic acid contents in different seasons.[Method] Contents of ferulic acid in FRUCTUS TOOSENDAN were determined by HPLC,and the chromatographic conditions were as follows:ultrasphere TM-ODS(4.6 mm×150 mm,5 μm)column,acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid(15∶85,V/V)as mobile phase with flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 322 nm and column temperature was 25 ℃.[Result]Content of ferulic acid of FRUCTUS TOOSENDAN didn’t change significantly in different seasons,and which was the highest in January.[Conclusion] The method is simple and fast,which could provide scientific evidence for determining the optimal collecting period for FRUCTUS TOOSENDAN.
