Determination of Metal Elements Content in RHIZOMA IMPERATAE from Different Regions

【摘要】 [Objective] To determine the content of metal elements in RHIZOMA IMPERATAE from different regions.[Method] The contents of metal elements Fe,Cu,Zn,Mn,Ca and Mg in RHIZOMA IMPERATAE were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry.[Result] The contents of metal elements in RHIZOMA IMPERATAE were different among varied regions.For example,the RHIZOMA IMPERATAE from Henan had high contents of Fe and Mn;while that from Anhui had high contents of Cu and Ca;the highest Mg content was seen in the RHIZOMA IMPERATAE from Shandong,while the highest Zn content was found in that from Inner Mongolia.The recovery of each metal element ranged from 92.8% to 104.6% with RSD between 0.9%-1.2%.[Conclusion] The method is simple with high precision and recoveries,therefore it can be adopted to determine the contents of metal elements in RHIZOMA IMPERATAE from varied regions.
