Study on Infrared Spectrum of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. and Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz. from Guangxi Province

【摘要】 [Objective] To develop a rapid method for identifying and evaluating Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. and Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz. species with IR spectrums. [Method] IR spectrums were applied to research Lonicera hypoglauca Miq., samples collected from 10 different producing areas and Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz. samples collected from 7 different producing areas in Guangxi Province. Then, the baseline of infrared spectrums was smoothed and corrected using Omnic 7.0 software, and each samples similarity was calculated using their average spectrum as the standard spectrum. Based upon theirs infrared spectrums characteristic absorption peaks and the similarity, these samples were identified and evaluated. [Result] The characteristic absorption peaks of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. and Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz. from Guangxi Province were obtained. The similarity of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. samples ranged from 0.976 7 to 0.993 4 with the RSD of 0.58% (n=10). Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz. samples similarity was in the range of 0.685 4 to 0.823 8 with the RSD of 6.92% (n=6). [Conclusion] This method is a simple, fast and stable one that can be used to identify and evaluate the species of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. and Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz.
