Changes of the Ellagic Acid Content in the Granules of PERICARPIUM GRANATI Extracts with Different Storage Periods

【摘要】 [Objective]To discuss the changes of ellagic acid content in the granules of PERICARPIUM GRANATI extracts with different storage periods,and to detect the stability of the granules.[Methods]High performance liquid chromatography was adopted.Chromatographic column was PT-230AColume heater Apollo C 18 column (150mm×4.6mm,5μm); column temperature was 30℃ ; mobile phase was aceto-nitrile-1.2% phosphoric acid solution (20∶80,V/V); detection wavelength was 254 nm and flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.[Results]The lin-ear range of the detection of ellagic acid content was between 0.52-5.20 μg/mL(R2 = 0.997 9); the average recovery rate was 97.8%; and RSD was 1.6%.The content of ellagic acids in the granules of PERICARPIUM GRANATI extracts was 0.495 mg/g on March 25,2008,and that was 0.439 mg/g on March 25,2011,which indicated that the granules of PERICARPIUM GRANATI extracts had good stability,and the period of validity could reach more than 3 years.[Conclusions]This method was simple and accurate and could be used for the quality control of PERICARPIUM GRANATI.
